Molly Ahearn

Photo Contest

This contest works differently than most. Neither I, nor any other professional photographer, will act as judge. Instead, visitors to my site during the month of December will be invited to vote and the photo with the most votes will be the 2009 winner. There is no fee to participate this year.

 

Prizes

The finalist will receive a Molly Ahearn print of their choice and will have the option to sell the winning photo in my store (25% commission).

 

Deadline and Dates

  1. Contestants may submit photos of any genre (no nudity please) through November 30, 2009.
  2. Visitors to Molly Ahearn’s site will vote on their favorite images during the month of December 2009.
  3. A winner will be announced by January 15, 2010.

Rules

  1. Molly Ahearn is the only ineligible person.
  2. No nudity or content that Molly Ahearn deems inappropriate to display on her web site will be admitted.
  3. Winners agree to be judged by visitors to Molly Ahearn’s web site.
  4. Participants are limited to three entries.
  5. Submission must come directly from photographer. In the case of minors, parents must submit along with approval of child’s participation. 

Submit a Photo

  1. Send me a jpg image no larger than 1Mb in size. I will size all photos that are not submitted to correct size.
  2. Include the image title, year photo was taken, and location if applicable.
  3. Photographers’ names will not be displayed during the contest, but please tell me how you would like to be announced if you win.
  4. All photos will have equal display area regardless of orientation (horizontal or vertical).
  5. Images will be displayed in the order that they are received.
